**Example:** Starter Pack ($7.50) gives 100 credits for 30 days. Starter Monthly ($6.50/mo) gives 100 credits every month, and unused credits expire monthly.

How many characters can I generate with 100 credits?

It depends on what features you use:

- **Basic characters:** 3 credits each = ~33 characters
- **Complete design sheets:** 5 credits each = ~20 design sheets
- **Outfit variations:** 3 credits each = ~33 outfits

Most users create a **mix:** For example, with 100 credits you could generate:
- 10 basic characters (30 credits)
- 5 design sheets (25 credits)
- 15 outfit variations (45 credits)

Total: A diverse portfolio with 100 credits!

Do unused credits carry over to the next month?

**No, for subscriptions:** Monthly and annual subscriptions reset on the 1st of each month. Any unused credits expire.

**Yes, for credit packs:** One-time credit packs are valid for their full validity period (30/90/365 days). Use them anytime within that window.

**Tip:** If you don't use credits consistently every month, credit packs might be better value!

Can I buy extra credits if I run out?

**Yes!** You can purchase additional credit packs anytime:

- Starter Pack (100 credits) - $7.50
- Standard Pack (300 credits) - $22.50
- Premium Pack (800 credits) - $60

**For subscribers:** You can also upgrade your plan mid-cycle. We'll calculate the pro-rated difference and give you credits immediately.

**Example:** Upgrade from Starter ($6.50/mo) to Standard ($19/mo) on day 15 → pay $6.25 and get 200 extra credits right away.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

**You can cancel anytime** with no penalties:

1. Your subscription continues until the end of your current billing cycle
2. You can still use remaining credits during this period
3. On renewal date, you won't be charged
4. After expiration, you'll revert to the Free tier (10 one-time credits)

**Your characters are safe:** All generated characters remain in your library forever, even after cancellation.

Can I get a refund?

- **Subscriptions:** Full refund if you cancel within 7 days of first purchase AND haven't used credits

**Standard & Premium:** **Full commercial rights** with no attribution required. Use characters in:
- Games, animations, comics
- Books, merchandise
- Client projects
- NFTs and digital collectibles

**You own the copyright** to all paid generations. CharacterGen doesn't claim any rights.

Do I own the copyright to generated characters?

Accepted Answer

**Paid users (Starter/Standard/Premium):** YES! You own full copyright to your generated characters. CharacterGen:
- ✅ Transfers all rights to you
- ❌ Won't use your characters for training
- ❌ Won't resell or redistribute your work

**Free users:** Limited to personal use only. CharacterGen retains commercial rights.

**Important:** You're responsible for ensuring your prompts don't infringe on existing copyrighted characters (e.g., don't try to copy Mickey Mouse).

Can I get an invoice for my purchase?

**Yes!** All paid users get automatic invoices:

1. After payment, go to **Account Settings → Billing History**
2. Click **Download Invoice** next to any transaction
3. Invoices include:
   - Your company name (if provided in settings)
   - Tax ID / VAT number
   - Itemized charges
   - Payment method

**For companies:** Add your company details in **Account Settings → Billing Info** before purchase to include them on invoices.
